@email Domain Retirement
Last February, ITS announced that the @email.uncc.edu email addresses are going away on July 1st, 2008. As we approach the July 1st timeframe, we encourage faculty and staff to continue updating print publications, web pages and forms that reference @email.uncc.edu. When ordering new business cards or stationery, be sure to specify the @uncc.edu address. In addition, please note that when sending email to a UNC Charlotte listserv, use @listserv.uncc.edu in the address field instead of @email.uncc.edu.
Who’s still sending me mail using @email.uncc.edu?
If you want to know if mail is still being delivered to your @email.uncc.edu address, you can create a rule in Outlook that will put a copy of incoming email messages addressed to @email.uncc.edu in a separate folder to make it very easy to identify who needs to be notified of your updated email address.
