| Step 1: |
Before installing SPSS 13.0, make a note of the Serial Number and Authorization Code from the front of the CD. You will need both of these in the installation process. |
| Step 2: |
Insert CD into CD drive. Click Install SPSS. |
| Step 3: |
Make sure that Single-user License is selected and click Next to continue. |
| Step 4: |
Click I accept the terms of the license agreement and click Next to continue. |
| Step 5: |
Read the ReadMe Information, then click Next to continue. |
| Step 6: |
Enter the following information:
User Name: <your name>
Serial Number: <serial number from the front of the CD>
Click Next to continue. |
| Step 7: |
Click Next to accept the default destination folder and continue. |
| Step 8: |
Click Install to begin the installation. Setup files are being copied to your computer. |
| Step 9: |
Make sure you have an Internet connection established before continuing with the License Authorization Wizard. |
| Step 10: |
When the InstallShield Wizard Completed dialog box appears, click Launch License Authorization Wizard… |
| Step 11: |
Choose Start to begin the License Authorization Wizard. Make sure Use Authorization via Internet to get License is selected. Click Next to continue. |
| Step 12: |
Enter the Authorization Code found on the CD cover. Click Next to continue. |
| Step 13: |
Click Finish. |
| Step 14: |
Click Finish. |
| Step 15: |
Click Exit to close the SPSS 13.0 dialog box. The SPSS installation is complete. |
