After inserting the SAS CD you will see a Choose Setup Language dialog box Choose English and select OK. |

Choose 3 Install SAS Software. The Welcome to SAS Setup Wizard will appear, click Next to continue. |

SAS software will now check system requirements. Make sure Run System Requirements is checked. Click Finish to continue. |

Click Next to continue. SAS will reboot your computer during the installation process. If you have a password set up on your computer, enter it on the Automatic Log On screen, otherwise click Next to continue. |

SAS will update any application on your computer required for SAS to run effectively. In the System Components Update dialog box, click Next to continue. |

After any necessary system components have been installed, you will need to reboot your computer. Click Finish to restart your computer. After your computer restarts, click Finish. |

Eject the SAS CD and then re-insert it into your CD-ROM drive. SAS will automatically start. Choose 3 Install SAS Software. |

In the Welcome to the SAS Setup Wizard dialog box, click Next to continue. Make sure that File is selected in the Retrieve SAS Installation Data dialog box, click Next to continue. |

In the SAS Installation Data dialog box, click Browse… Select Desktop and choose the SAS License.txt file that you copied above. Click Next to continue. |

Click Next to continue and SAS will copy the installation files to your computer. |

On the Language Selections window, English is automatically selected. Click Next to continue. |

Click Next to continue to allow SAS to install the application in the default location. |

Click Next to continue in the Specify Data Files Folder dialog box. |

Click Next to continue in the Specify Temporary Files Folder dialog box. |

Make sure that ALL components are selected in the Select Components dialog box, then click Next to continue. |

Click Next to continue in the Start Copying Files dialog box. |

Insert the software CDs as prompted. |

After inserting the SAS/Secure CD, check Use this response for all file types and then click Yes to continue in the Confirm Update dialog box. |

If you are running Windows XP SP2, you will see a Windows Security Alert dialog box. Click Unlock to continue. |

Insert the Setup Disk and click OK to continue. |

Click Finish to continue on the SAS Setup Complete screen. Click the red X to close the SAS 9.1 Foundation screen. Installation is now complete. |
