Spybot - Search & Destroy
Spyware is software that transmits personally identifiable information from your computer to the Internet without your specific knowledge. It can also cause your PC to have pop-ups. Spybot – Search & Destroy will search your computer’s hard drive for installed spyware and help you to remove it.
Installing and Launching Spybot
Go to the Windows-Tools folder in the Novell Application Launcher (NAL)
window and double-click on the Spybot icon.
Once installed, go back to the Windows-Tools folder in the NAL and double-click on the
Spybot icon to open the program. Check the Don't show this message again box and press OK.
Using Spybot

Click Search for updates. Be sure to check all listings, if any, and choose Download Updates at the top. Wait until all updates have downloaded and the Spybot program restarts. |

Click Immunize located in the left-hand column. |
| Step 3: |
Spybot will tell you that it has blocked known bad products and to immunize. Click Immunize located next to Check again. |
| Step 4: |
Run Check again this time to see if it finds any more bad products, and click Immunize again. You will know you have blocked all known products when the Immunize button is faded. |
| Step 5: |
Click on Search & Destroy. |
| Step 6: |
Click Check for problems at the bottom of the window. Let it run until it is complete. |
| Step 7: |
Click Fix selected problems. You will receive the message: Problems have been fixed and you can close the Spybot program. |
